Meatloaf

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced or through garlic press
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons chopped parsley
  • 1 cup of your favorite Mia’s Kitchen Pasta Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons cabernet sauvignon or other dry, red wine
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, using only three-fourths of the pasta sauce.
  2. Shape into a greased load pan and pour remaining pasta sauce over the loaf.
  3. Bake for 1 hour at 350°F. Let rest 10 minutes and slice and serve hot.
